Do you want to transfer to a Texas public university?
If so, the Temple College Advising Center has aligned our Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees to match the lower-level requirements of our top 12 Texas public transfer universities. These degrees were designed for students to meet degree requirements for their intended major at the university level. We want students to have the opportunity to take the exact classes that they need for transfer into their program of choice, while completing the associate degree in as short of time as possible with as small of a cost as possible.
The proudest moment I have is when I hand a student a degree and they lean over and say ‘I went to Temple College.’

Texas public universities are regulated, funded, and supported by the State of Texas. Transfer of Temple College credits is only guaranteed at Texas public universities.
Temple College cannot guarantee transfer of credits to Texas private or out-of-state universities because they are not supported by the state. You will need to contact those universities to discuss transfer.
Students interested in transferring to one of these institutions are highly encouraged to come visit with an advisor early in their educational journey.
Guided Pathways
Temple College follows the Texas Success Center Guided Pathways practices. Guided Pathways are academic maps that guide and prepare students to enter employment and further their education at 4-year institutions. The Guided Pathway maps provide students with clear and coherent knowledge of the courses they should take and in what sequences so that students can seamlessly transfer into baccalaureate programs without loss of credit and without excess tuition cost.
Each pathway includes core curriculum courses that will automatically transfer into a bachelor’s degree program to satisfy the core curriculum at any state-supported college or university in Texas.
