Degrees & Certificates
The Vocational Nursing program requires a separate application and admission process from Temple College.
|The Vocational Nursing program is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing.|
The program uses several settings to provide the nursing students with a variety of clinical experiences. Several hospitals in the area are utilized including Baylor Scott and White Health and the Central Texas Veteran’s Health Care System.
In addition to the hospital-based experiences, vocational nursing students also have opportunities to practice clinical skills in a number of local nursing homes and long-term care facilities as well as outpatient clinics and community health organizations.
All of these experiences help prepare VN students for the workplace environment.
