Doris Dlouhy had worked at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital for almost 13 years as a unit secretary, switchboard operator and patient care technician before deciding to go back to school and fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse.This year she received the hospital’s award for nursing excellence.
