Temple College has received a $2.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce that will go toward the cost of renovating its Health Sciences Center.
The Central Texas Food Bank is sponsoring free monthly food distribution events at Temple College to help those facing increased food insecurity as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jackie Silva had a simple message for her fellow students who recently completed certification programs offered by Temple College’s Business and Continuing Division: “We do make a difference.”
The Temple College Board of Trustees is asking Temple voters to consider a $124.9 million bond issue in the May 1, 2021 election. This bond would allow the college to create facilities and provide the technology needed to prepare students for 21st century careers.
