College offering emergency aid grants for fall 2nd 8-week classes

Temple College has announced plans to make emergency aid grants of up to $750 available to students who enroll in fall 2nd 8-week classes. These grants can be applied directly to tuition for fall 2nd 8-week classes.

Temple College, TISD receive $1.5 million grant to fund cybersecurity training initiative

Temple College and the Temple Independent School District (TISD) have received a $1,486,204 grant from the U.S. Department of Education to expand the cybersecurity curriculum at both institutions. A particular emphasis of the new initiative will be to increase the numbers of female and minority students who enter the field.

The Temple College Biological Research Institute has received a $48,151 research grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Temple College Biology Professor Dr. Jason Locklin will use the grant to fund a new zebra mussel research project at Lake Belton and Stillhouse Hollow Lake.
