Professor Donahue is the author of over 20 professional articles. He also is the author of two books: “Drawing Battle Lines-The Map Testimony of Custer’s Last Fight” and “Where the Rivers Ran Red - The Indian Fights of George A. Custer.” Both have won numerous awards. |

Recipient of Temple College’s Claudia and W.T. Barnhart Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award for 1993 and the Minnie Stevens Piper Professorship in 1993.The latter is a statewide competition that chooses 10 outstanding professors from all Texas colleges and universities each year for a $2,500 award. |
