Two jazz groups will give free performances at Temple College on Tuesday, Nov. 30.

At 12:30 p.m., the Temple College and Texas A&M University-Central Texas Jazz Combo will perform in the Jackson-Graeter Backstage Theatre.

The group is directed by Randy Zimmerman and includes Aidan Amling (drums), Alex Buss (piano, bass), Deon Byrd (trombone), Jackson Holt (vibraphone), Justin Kirksey (guitar), Nico Trujillo (alto saxophone, flute), Joseph Walters (tenor saxophone) and Ashton Yarbrough (piano, bass).

Audience members are welcome to bring a lunch to eat while enjoying the music.

At 7:30 p.m., the Temple College Faculty Jazz will also perform in the Jackson-Graeter Backstage Theatre.

This ensemble includes Temple College faculty members Dr. Colin Mason (saxophone), Randy Zimmerman (trombone), Dr. Benjamin Irom (piano), Dr. Dan Andersen (guitar), Dr. James Suter (bass) and Norm Bergeron (drums).

The group will play original compositions and arrangements by its members that encompass a variety of styles, including swing, fusion and Latin.
