The Temple College Adult Education and Literacy program has scholarships available to help adult learners become certified as pharmacy technicians.

Applications are now being accepted for a six-month Pharmacy Technician program that will begin in early October. The course will be offered through Temple College’s Business and Continuing Education Division.

Those who are selected for the program will receive a scholarship that covers 100% of tuition and certification testing fees. They also will receive additional training in adult basic education contextualized to fit their area of study, soft skills and workforce preparation training.

“This is a rare mid-fall opportunity to start a highly sought-after course,” said Career Pathways Program Manager Javier Ruiz.
