Brandon Bozon has been named the new vice president for administrative services and chief financial officer at Temple College. He replaces Dr. Van Miller, who left in March to accept a new position at North Central Texas College. Bozon is expected to begin work at Temple College July 1.
As vice president for administrative services and chief financial officer, Bozon will be responsible for overseeing the college budget and serving as the college’s chief investment officer. He also will oversee the Campus Police, Physical Plant, Purchasing, Human Resources and Information Technology Services departments, as well as outsourced services such as housekeeping and lawn care.
Bozon has served as director of finance for the City of Belton since 2014. Prior to that, he worked as a senior associate at KPMG. Bozon is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Government Finance Officer.
“Temple College is an invaluable institution in our community and I am excited to have the opportunity to serve as one of its vice presidents.” Bozon said.
Bozon is a graduate of Belton High School. He received a B.B.A. in accounting and an M.S. in finance from Texas A&M University.
“Brandon is a talented leader in our community and will make a great addition to the Temple College family,” said Temple College President Dr. Christy Ponce.
The Board of Trustees is expected to formally approve Bozon’s appointment at its June 17 meeting.
