Students in Teri Johnson’s Voice Studio at Temple College are giving a recital Sunday, May 5, at 3 p.m. in the Jackson-Graeter Backstage Theatre.

The theme for this year’s recital is “Animals, Animals, Animals!” Students will sing songs that are about or inspired by animals, including horses, birds, cats, dogs, sheep and fish.  

Johnson’s Voice Studio includes students from Temple College as well as students from the music program at Texas A&M University - Central Texas. Temple College students who will perform include Adam Anderson, Emily Baker, Alex Clardy, Raquelle Cyphers, Hannah Gilmore, Lily Johnson, Mary Lindberg, Gregory Madrid, Juan Morales, Alondra Salazar, Andrew Schmidt and Allegra Yauk.

TAMU-CT students who will perform include Kendall Duffina, Rachel Mayfield, Shelby Moeller, Rebekah Peacock and Emily Selph. The students will be accompanied on the piano by David Perez-Guerra.
