Temple College Trustees have set the tuition and fees for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Tuition for all students will remain the same, but there will be a $2 increase in the Technology Fee charged to all students for each semester credit hour taken. The Out-of-District fee also will increase by $1 per semester credit hour.

This will bring the total cost of tuition and fees per semester credit hour to $101 for in-district students, $175 for out-of-district students and $255 for out-of-state and international students.

Dr. Van Miller, vice president for administrative services, said the college has not increased its Technology Fee for more than 10 years. The new fee will more accurately reflect the cost of providing technology services to students.

“We realize the importance of technology and we need to provide the technology our students need,” Miller said.

Miller said the college spends about $2 million a year on information technology and currently collects less than $600,000 through the Technology Fee.

Enrollment for the fall 2019 semester begins May 6 and continues through August 23. Enrollment for the spring 2020 semester will begin Oct. 28.
