The Temple College Business and Continuing Education Division is now taking registrations for five health profession courses that will be offered this fall: Medical Billing & Coding, Phlebotomy Technician, Certified Nurse Aide, Dietary Management and EKG Technician.

A Medical Billing & Coding course will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. beginning Aug. 27 and ending Jan. 16, 2019. The fee for this course is $2,139.

Phlebotomy class A Phlebotomy Technician course will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. beginning Aug. 27 and ending Dec. 5. The fee for this course is $1,829.

A Certified Nurse Aide course will be offered Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 9:05 p.m. from Sept. 10 through Oct. 27. The course fee is $929. Upon completion of this program, students will be prepared to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) exam offered by Pearson Vue.

Part one of a three-part Dietary Management program will be offered Mondays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 10 and 24, Oct. 15 and 29, and Nov. 12 and 26. This program meets regulatory requirements for training of food service supervisors in nursing facilities and provides the ServSafe Food Safety Certification. The fee for this course is $280.

An EKG Technician course will be offered Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 15 and ending Dec. 8. The fee for this course is $1,845.
