It is a concern of many current and prospective college students of how to finance a college education. Financial aid is awarded in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and jobs according to financial need, academic grades, academic load, and/or other eligibility requirements. A students personal and family resources are considered in determining the students financial need. Most programs require high school graduation, the equivalent (GED), and/or successful completion of the ability to benefit test approved by the Secretary of Education.
Although Temple College attempts to provide financial assistance to those students who, without aid, would not be able to enroll, the primary responsibility for financing a college education rests with the student and his or her family. Financial assistance is intended to supplement (not replace) the students financial contribution toward meeting the costs of attending college. STUDENTS MUST APPLY EACH YEAR.
