An outstanding volleyball player at Temple High School, she was named to the All-District Team in 1998-99. She played collegiate volleyball two years for Temple College (2000-2002) and two years at Prairie View A&M (2002-2004), winning numerous honors at conference, region and national levels at both schools. In addition, she has an outstanding academic record, graduating as a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society at TC and received summa cum laude honors for a bachelor's degree from Prairie View A&M. She is the first student athlete to return to Temple College as a coach.

While at TC she was a two-time First Team All Conference, Most Valuable Player of the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference and NJCAA Region V, and was nationally ranked in the top five in kills and digs. She also received awards as Academic All-Conference and Academic All-American.

During her junior and senior years at Prairie View A&M, a Division I school in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, she was two-time First Team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference, named to the All-SWAC Tournament Team and led the conference in kills. She also was honored for having the highest GPA in the conference.

In only her second season as Head Coach, she took her team to the National Tournament. After starting the season with a 4/11 record, she made a strong and noticeable change that got her players into remarkable playing form. After successfully tackling more than one nationally ranked team and playing several others, she prepared to play some of the top programs in the nation. She successfully made a firm stand in conference leading into the regional tournament with a flawless conference record. Losing in the second round, she had to rally her troops for the long hall to defeat North Central Texas College, the 2005 NTJCAC Region V National representatives, twice to continue to the National Tournament. After 5 grueling games in the first match, the Lady Leopards prevailed victorious in the second match taking NCTC in four games.

In two seasons, Reese has counted five First Team All Conference selections and three Second Team All Conference selections as well as one Overall MVP and Defensive MVP and one All Region selection. She has also counted one Academic All-American.

In two years, the Temple College volleyball program has shown great potential to be among the strongest programs in the nation. Behind Reese’s leadership, motivation, and vision; Temple is looking forward to producing dedicated and motivated women focused on strong academic and competitive athletic performance.

"My coaching philosophy is player-oriented," Coach Reese said. "Each player needs to learn the best way to perform consistently and effectively, utilizing her personal strengths as well as a few new tricks."
