Softball Newsletter

Greetings to all Lady Leopards and Fans,

TC SOFTBALL NEWS FOR FALL 2009

* Special Thanks to “The USAA Matching Gift Fund” of the San Antonio Area Foundation and a very generous supporter who together have made a nice donation to the softball program. We appreciate this gift and will put it to good use. Please contact our Athletic Director (Danny Scott) if you are interested in making a donation to our program. We are always needing more money to finish old projects.

*We will kick off our sale of advertisements in our 2010 Softball Media Guide on Monday, October 5. These ads are on sale for $100 per page, $50 for half a page, and $25 for a quarter page. Our media guide contains bios on current players and additional information about past teams and former players. Also, businesses can use it to promote themselves and include specials and coupons. We made more than $8,000 last season which featured a ten-year look at our program called "A Decade of Excellence". Please call Maurice Zaleski for more information at 254-541-7997.

*Our annual “TC Hitting Camp” is scheduled for Saturday, January 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kristen Zaleski , former pro fastpitch player and Temple High graduate, will assist with the camp. Registration forms will be available on line in November or you may email Coach Hennig at larry.hennig@templejc.edu.
