Temple College Announces
Summer "Power Camp"

Temple College has announced summer "Power" classes for kids, teens and teachers through the Temple Fit Club at the new Temple College Fitness Center located in the Pavilion on the TC east campus.

Kid Power Camp (ages 8-12) and Teen Power Camp (ages 13-18) will begin June 4 with classes meeting during June and July from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Mondays and Wednesdays for kids and from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays for teens. Cost is $80 per month.

The Power Camp is a combination of building stronger minds and bodies, positive thinking, weight management, nutritional awareness, strength and flexibility. Each participant will receive a Power Camp t-shirt and a nutritional packet.

Teacher Power will begin on Tuesday, June 5, with classes from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost is $10 per week. Teacher Power is open to teachers of all ages and fitness levels. It will be a combination class which will focus on cardio, resistance training, enhanced strength and flexibility, fat burning/muscle sculpting, weight loss or gain and nutritional planning.

Debbie Rowe Moore, a certified personal trainer, will be instructor. She has a bachelor's degree in sport science and more than 21 years of experience in the fitness industry.
