Musical Theater Presents "Little Mary Sunshine"
The Temple College Music Theater production of "Little Mary Sunshine" be will be presented at
7:30 p.m. on April 20 and 21 at the Mary Alice Marshall Performing Arts Center.
"Little Mary Sunshine," is an American musical in emulation of older operetta, with book, music, and lyrics by Rick Besoyan. Set at the Colorado Inn high in the Rocky Mountains in the early 20th century, it is a musical tale of a land dispute between the Indians and the government.
Ashley Clawson will appear in the title role as Little Mary Sunshine. Capt."Big Jim" Warrington will be portrayed by Ben Gardner, Cpl. Billy Jester will be played by Travis Long and Nancy Twinkle will be portrayed by Yuen Truong. Other cast members include Quinton Williams as Chief Brown Bear, Caitlin Richardson as Mme. Ernestine Von Liebedich, Michael Cannie as Fleet Foot, Zachary Montgomery as Yellow Feather and Lee Peterson as Gen. Oscar Fairfax. Forest Rangers are Lee Peterson, Michael Cannie, Zach Montgomery, Wesley Boultinghouse and Daniel Washington. The Young Ladies of the Eastchester Finishing School are Olivia Moreno, Christina Leon-Carr, Hanna Ash and Emily Martinez. Directors are Sandra Miller and Roy Finney.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students/seniors and will be available at the door.
