Temple College Trustees have set the tuition and fees for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Tuition and fees for in-district students be $114 per semester credit hour. Tuition and fees for out-of-district students will be $188 per semester credit hour. Both of these represent a slight increase from 2019-2020 because the college will be increasing its Technology Fee from $9 to $22 per semester credit hour. However, the college will be eliminating the $35 per semester credit hour fee that was previously charged for all classes that were offered in an online or hybrid format.

“The fee for online and hybrid classes was appropriate in the past because the delivery of online instruction required new and unique resources,” said Brandon Bozon, vice president for administrative services and chief financial officer. “Today, many of these resources have been integrated into all instructional formats, and the assessment of an additional fee for only online and hybrid courses may no longer be equitable.”

Bozon said the goal of these changes is to make Temple College more accessible and equitable for all students by providing a more fair, transparent tuition and fee structure.

The college is keeping tuition and fees for Dual Credit students (high school students taking college classes) at the same rate for 2020-2021. Tuition and fees for in-district Dual Credit students will be $71 per semester credit hour and tuition and fees for out-of-district Dual Credit students will be $115 per semester credit hour.

Enrollment for the fall 2020 semester begins May 4 and continues through August 14.
