Temple College will be resuming classes March 23, but classes will be switching to an online format due to the threat posed by COVID-19.

Students should check their Temple College email and log into D2L for instructions from their professors.

In an effort to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the college also is encouraging most of its employees to work remotely beginning March 23 and continuing through April 6.

All Temple College facilities are closed to students and the public. Students who need access to computers to complete their courses should write helpdesk@templejc.edu or call 254-298-8450 to request a laptop.

“These are difficult times that none of us expected, but I am confident we will get through this together,” said President Dr. Christy Ponce. “We have an amazing team working with our regional partners daily and aligning our decisions with those of our peer institutions. I’m extremely proud of the Temple College community.”

Dr. Ponce said there are no known cases of COVID-19 connected to Temple College at this time.
