Temple College is now accepting applications for a new Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) class that will begin in January 2019.

To meet the increased demand for registered nurses, Temple College is now starting two ADN classes each year – one in the fall and one in the spring. The ADN program is a two-year program that leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree and allows graduates to apply to take the state licensing exams for registered nursing (RN). According to the Texas Workforce Commission, Central Texas will need more than 10,000 new registered nurses each year through 2024.

Temple College will be accepting applications for its next ADN class through Aug. 1. Interested applicants must complete the Temple College admission process as well as requirements for acceptance into the nursing program. An information session for prospective applicants will be held on Tuesday, June 5, at 4 p.m. in Room 1003 of the Nursing Education Center.
