Eight students from Temple College have received Academic Student-Athlete Awards from the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Volleyball player Morgan Kidd received the top award, the Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence. To receive the Pinnacle Award, a student-athlete must maintain a 4.0 GPA.

Softball player Casey Ingram and baseball player Josiah Chupik received the Superior Academic Achievement Award. To receive this award, a student-athlete must have a 3.80-3.99 GPA.

Softball player Adelae Vayas, volleyball players Audrey Gilmore and Gwendolyn Christ, and baseball players Trevor Bragadeste and William Rittenberry received the Exemplary Academic Achievement Award, which is given to student-athletes who maintain a 3.60-3.79 GPA.
