Expectations and Requirements
- Dual credit and early admission students are expected to perform at college level and to honor all deadlines declared by the College or by the instructor. The individual professors distribute class policies and syllabi during the first week of class detailing individual class requirements.
- The College Catalog, the College’s Student Handbook, and the Dual Credit Student Handbook, published annually by the College at the beginning of each fall semester, are valuable resources for assisting students in getting the most out of what Temple College has to offer. They also list student’s rights and responsibilities, all rules and regulations for general student behavior, grievances and complaints, and discipline policies and procedures that all students are expected to follow. For courses held on your high school campus, copies of the Student Handbook will be made available in your counselor’s office during the first week of classes each fall semester. Copies are also available online at the college’s web site at www.templejc.edu.
- Students taking dual credit or early admission courses at the College are incorporated into the general population of the College. Student enrollment status is not identified to professors unless a student chooses to identify their status as such.
- Students taking dual-credit at the high school under the instruction of a Master’s degree instructor are required to complete that high school course in order to receive credit for the equivalent course at the college.
- Students are responsible for making sure they know when their final exams will be administered. This information can be found at www.templejc.edu, click on News and Events. For students taking English Composition I (ENGL 1301), a departmental final exam is administered on a scheduled date prior to the week of final exams. Students need to check with instructor for date, time, and location.
- Students enrolled in online classes are required to attend a Distance Education Orientation Workshop. Dates and times of workshops can be found at www.templejc.edu.
