Community Education Positions

Temple College's Office of Business and Community Education is always interested in discovering well-qualified instructors to help us accomplish our mission of developing the skills of the local workforce. If you've got the enthusiasm, subject-related work experience and education, and skills to teach adults with diverse backgrounds and ability levels, let us know what you're interested in teaching on an "as needed" basis.
Subjects of interest include:
- Information Technology (end-user skills and beyond)
- General Business Skills
- Leadership/Supervision/Management
- Customer Services/Sales/Marketing
- Communication (Written, Interpersonal, Presentational, Foreign Languages in the Workplace)
- Supervision & Interpersonal Skills
- Quality Management
- Security/Loss Prevention/Disaster Recovery
- Vocational areas such as Machinist, Firefighting, Health Services, and other workforce-related knowledge and skills
Classes are typically taught at the Temple College-Downtown Center (Main at Adams, Downtown Temple), but may also be held on the main campus in Temple, at the Taylor Center or Cameron Center, or on-site at businesses within our service area (parts of Bell, Milam and Williamson Counties). Class sessions may occur during weekdays, evenings -- even weekends.
