Spring 2012 Performances

• Thursday, April 26, 7 p.m. Dessert Theatre; Friday, April 27, 7 p.m Dinner Theatre.

• Saturday, April 28 6:30 – 7:10 Temple Symphony Pre-Concert Performance   (selected groups)
• Friday, May 4 & Saturday, May 5  Academie Silent Film Fundraiser   (selected groups)

Choir Calendar

The Academie offers three choirs to meet the needs of growing voices. New students will audition to determine acceptance and proper choir placement and balance.  Auditions may be scheduled by contacting the Academie director.

The Academie Choirs will meet Thursday nights. Cantate and Maestoso will meet individually for the first hour and then combine for a SATB choir – students will get the best of both worlds – the training that comes with the individual choirs and the variety of repertoire that the combined choirs will offer.

JUBILATE:
            Boys and Girls ages 8 - 12
            Director:  Debra Johnson             Thursdays, 6 to 7 p.m.
            Cost: $100
Concert Dress:  Girls - Black Skirts/White Blouse;  Boys – Black Slacks/White Dress Shirts

CANTATE LADIES:
            Girls ages 12 – 18
            Director:  Shelley Dennis              Thursdays, 5:15 – 6:50 p.m.
            Cost: $125
Concert Dress: Formal Black Dress

MAESTOSO MEN’S CHOIR:
            Young Men ages 12 - 18
            Interim Director: Brady Dennis        Thursdays, 5:15 – 6:50 p.m.
            Cost: $125
Concert Dress:  Dark slacks, long sleeved white shirts, ties.
