Word Grading Criteria (brief overview of many of these features here):
• Word, 50% (see Project details)
• (5%) Appropriate course related topic (health care, computers in medicine, etc.),
• (5%) A cover page
• (5%) A 3 to 5* page report created using Microsoft Word. Must be at least 1000 words.
• (5%) Include a introduction that mentions topics to be covered
    • (2.5%) Should include your name and page number in the header
    • (2.5%) Should use a footnote (for any direct quotes)
• (5%) Must be double spaced using a 12-point proportional font and no more than 1 inch margins.
• (5%) Must include a bibliography (called “Works Cited”) with at least three references (sources) in MLA format. These cannot all be Interenet references.
    • 1 Cover Page + 1000+ word Report + 1 Bibliography
• (10%) Show evidence of planning, be well written, demonstrate knowledge of Word, saved as yourname-project.docx
• Conclusion.
    • (2.5%) The conclusion should recap the topics covered, and
    • (2.5%) draw conclusion based on what you learned.

Excel/PowerPoint Grading Criteria:

• SpreadSheet, 10% (see Project details)
• (7.5%) A spreadsheet with formulas or a chart created with Microsoft Excel. (This could be to average pay scales, add up events, show comparison of working hours, chart labor statistics such as growth in job openings in your chosen field of interest, or other data. Ideally, you would copy the results into your Word document, and perhaps your presentation, but you must still submit the spreadsheet
• (2.5%) saved as yourname-project.xlsx.
  
• Presentation, 40%, You may wish to use the outline of your Word document as a starting point
• (2.5%)The PowerPoint presentation must have a title slide that includes your name
• (5%)overview slide with at least three topics to be covered
• (15% [5% ea]) at least three slides with details on the topics from the overview
  You may wish to include a chart generated in Excel
• (10%) summary slide based on your paper (recap overview topics, and draw conclusion based on the evidence presented.)
• (5%) Use a theme, and include at least one transition or custom animation, and Include clip art or other source of art, on at least one slide. See also PowerPoint/Presentation tips
• (2.5%) saved as yourname-project.pptx
