Items to accomplish during the current course time frame:

•Read\Review
   • Rotate
   • Crop
   • Resize and canvas sizing
   • Video on GIMP crop, scale, and canvas resize
   • Layers, more about layers
   • A bit more on layers and selection (psd-Photoshop or xcf-GIMP for layer support)

•Activities

   • Use Select\All or a selection tool to select part of an image, and choose Edit\Transform... experiment
   • Duplicate a layer, add a transparent layer, then hide the original background layer;
       rearrange so the transparent layer is at the bottom to get maximum flexibility
   • Add lines and/or text. Use the move tool to rearrange items on various layers

•Submit by 11:59 pm, Friday, of the current week (see due dates)
