Tips Formula construction =sum(cell:cell) should only be used to add. If you want to use other mathematical operators (MOs) or mix mathematical operations, use =cell math cell, such as =b7*b4+c7*c4 Formula order Operations are read left to right, to change this, you can use parenthesis, such as =(b7*b4)+(c7*c4) Reading Formulas To see all the formulas, instead of Excel's default display of the solutions to formulas, hold down the [Ctrl] key, and touch [~] key (usually to the left of the [1] key, top left of your keyboard. Make sure you press [Ctrl]+[~] again, to put it back the way it was. |
