- Document the required steps before you start the lab (this documentation will be turned in): 30%

Chapter 10
- Answer all of the 'Reviewing the Basics' questions, p. 445
* add appropriate summary of troubleshooting
to your documentation
- Login users to your server
* Boot your Windows server, Linux Server, and
Windows workstation
* You will need to add appropriate screen shots
to your documentation for the following
* in your XP workstation, open My Computer
* Under Tools, choose Map Network Drive
* Enter in \\servername\shared foldername, or
browse to your server's shared folder
* Locate your domain,
then right click on your server. Choose Explore. Log in as one of your
users.
*You can then copy and
paste the \\servername\shared foldername
* Add a screen shot to your documentation
* Compare this to logging into a Linux Server,
via Telnet
- Defrag your server; Project 10-1, #2, p. 448 (you need not finish,
just start the process)
* add appropriate screen shots to your documentation
* Is there a comparable tool in the Linux GUI?
In command Linux?
*From a terminal session,
type apropos defragment, to see if any command documentation contains
defragment
- Backup your server; Project 10-2, all, p. 448-449 (you need not finish,
just start the process, and you may choose your backup location)
* add appropriate screen shots to your documentation
* Is there a comparable tool in the Linux GUI?
In command Linux?
*From a terminal session,
type apropos backup, to see if any command documentation contains backup
- Learn about Antivirus; Variation on Project 10-3; install AVG antivirus
software to your server
* add appropriate screen shots to your documentation
* Is there a comparable tool for the Linux GUI?
