• Information Sessions will be held in the Health Sciences Building starting at 9:00 am to about 12 noon on the designated dates. Ordinarily there is a tour of the VA Hospital respiratory care areas and in the early afternoon a tour of Scott & White Hospital, wherever respiratory therapists are involved.
• Aptitude Test (HOBET - $30) is administered by the Testing Center located on the second floor of One College Centre. Testing Center regular hours are 8:00 to 5:00, Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 to 2:00 pm on Fridays. Tuesdays they are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm during the Fall and Spring semesters. (Please call Testing Center for summer hours and times.) Call 254-298-8586 OR 1-800-460-4636 ext 8586 for an appointment. It is important that you bring a picture ID and come at least 3 hours before closing time. Students receive their test scores immediately after testing is completed; scores are also sent to the Respiratory Care department.

• Deadline for completing necessary information to go into the Respiratory Care Prospective Student Files is Monday, June 15, 2009.



• Pre-selection Committee will meet Wednesday, June 17, 2009.



• Prospective Student Interviews, week of June 29, 2009.



• Acceptance letters mailed week of July 6, 2009.
