Students must pass the theory and clinical components of the curriculum to progress in the program. A grade of C or better (≥ 75) must be earned in all course work to receive a certificate of completion in vocational nursing. After receiving the certificate of completion to the VN program the student is eligible to sit for the state board exam (NCLEX). Students who successfully pass this exam enter the workforce as Licensed Vocational Nurses.
