Symphonic Band
The Temple College Symphonic Band comprises the finest wind and percussion players from campus and the central Texas region. Using the best literature from the Renaissance to the present day, the ensemble operates as a fully modern band. Repertoire is selected to expose performers to a wide range of musical languages, as well as a variety of technical, intellectual, and aesthetic challenges, enhancing the development of students and professionals alike. Section seating in the ensemble is rotated from piece to piece, giving many players solo opportunities and all performers a diversity of experiences.
The Symphonic Band has given four world premiere performances since 1995 and has become one of the premiere community college wind ensembles in Texas.  In addition, many of TC's wind and percussion students receive honors every year including selection to Texas Community College All-State Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, The College Band Directors National Association's Small College Honor Band, and the IAJE Community College Jazz Ensemble.
