STRING ENSEMBLES
The Academie String ensembles will meet weekly, perform an end of the semester concert each semester and perform preceding the Temple Symphony Concerts in both December and May.
SUZUKI VIOLIN GROUP CLASSES
Begin September 14
The Academie provides Suzuki group classes for all violin students currently studying violin, regardless of age or level.
Mondays: 4:45 – 5:30 Cost: Academie Private Lesson Students – included in tuition Non-Academie, $75.

THE VIRTUOSO VIOLINISTS
A special ensemble is offered for advanced violin students, the Virtuoso Violinists that will cover advanced techniques and advanced literature from within and outside the Suzuki Method Repetoire. Audition required for all new students.

STRING ORCHESTRAS

STUDENTS MUST PARTICIPATE IN THEIR SCHOOL ORCHESTRAS
The Academie offers three levels of string orchestras for students who are private lessons and/or a school program. These are not instructional orchestras for learning to play the instrument. New students will audition to be placed in the appropriate orchestra. Auditions may be scheduled by contacting the Academie director.
PRIMO:
This is a beginning level orchestra for students playing the equivalent level of late Suzuki Method Books 1 & early 2.
Director: Lavelle Florence Saturdays from 10 - 11
Cost: $125
INTERMEZZO:
This a beginning level orchestra for students playing the equivalent level of Suzuki Bks. 3 & 4.
Director: Doug Fischer Saturdays from 10 - 11
Cost: $125
VIVACE:

This is an advanced level orchestra.
Director: Terence Guerrero Wednesdays from 4:30 – 6
Cost: $125
- Dress for formal concerts will be black slacks or skirts, white dress shirts, and for all Vivace men, ties.
- Dress for casual concerts will be Academie t-shirts and blue or black jeans.
