Spring 2012 Performances
- Friday, May 4 – SPRING CONCERT – 6:00 p.m.
- VIVACE – Silent Film Fundraiser – Friday, May 4 at 8 p.m. & Saturday, May 5, 8 p.m.
STUDENTS MUST PARTICIPATE IN THEIR SCHOOL ORCHESTRAS AND/OR BANDS
The Academie offers two levels of string orchestras for students who are private lessons and/or a school program. These are not instructional orchestras for learning to play the instrument. New students will audition to be placed in the appropriate orchestra. Auditions may be scheduled by contacting the Academie director.
Dress For Formal Concerts (Primo & Intermezzo):
Men: Black slacks; white dress shirts
Ladies: Black skirts; white dress blouses
Dress for Informal Concerts:
Academie t-shirt; black jeans or skirt
PRIMO ORCHESTRA
This is a beginning level orchestra for students playing the equivalent level of late Suzuki Method Books 1 & early 2.
Director: TBA Wednesdays, 4:45 – 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $75
INTERMEZZO
This is a beginning-intermediate level orchestra for students playing the equivalent level of Suzuki Bks. 3 & 4.
Director: Doug Fischer Wednesdays, 4:45 – 5:45 p.m.
Cost: $100
VIVACE JR. YOUTH ORCHESTRA
This is an advanced level orchestra for advanced students 6th grade & up. Temple College Orchestra is recommended for all 11th & 12th grade students but they are welcome to participate in Vivace as well.

Men: Black slacks; white dress shirts, ties
Ladies: Black dresses
Director: Hannah Shook Wednesdays, 4:45 – 6:15 p.m.
Cost: $125
