Faculty Welcome to the Temple College Department of Mathematics web site. The Mathematics Department is fully staffed and offers a broad range of classes to fit the needs of various levels of students. For those who show areas of deficiency upon completion of an accepted placement test, Temple College has the most successful developmental completion rate in the state. Pre Algebra I and II and Introductory Algebra I and II and Intermediate Algebra are offered as non-college credit courses designed to gradually bring the student up to college level performance. College Algebra is offered on campus and online. Other offerings include Math for Business and Social Science I and II, Contemporary Mathematics, Elementary Statistical Methods, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus I and II. Developmental courses are carried out through self-paced, computer based instruction in the Computer-Aided Mathematics (CAM) Lab in Room 1131 of the MBS building. The Mathematics Tutoring Lab (MTL), which is located in Room 1117 of the MBS building, supports all Temple College Math students based on their individual needs.
