After Mexico was free from Spain, what type of governments
did Mexico have over the next 15 years? Politically what did the centralist
want? What did the federalist want? How did Stephen F. Austin and the empresarios
fit into the political problems of Mexico? How did the Law of April 6,
1830 come about, that attempts to stop immigration from the United States
to Texas.
Describe life in the Texas during the Mexican Period for the different
ethnic groups.
