WELCOME TO THE HEALTH SCIENCES DIVISION

Welcome to the Division of Health Sciences website. By navigating around this website you will find information on Temple College's exciting health sciences programs. Also available are Certificate programs in Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate, Paramedic and Surgical Technology and an Advanced Technical Certificate in Polysomnography. In the near future, watch for information on an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Biotechnology and Enhanced Skills Certificate in Genomics.

Students in the Dental Hygiene program practice clinical skills in the Jean and Ralph Wilson Dental Hygiene Clinic. Surgical Technology students work in a mock operating room equipped with a high-fidelity human patient simulator. Students in the Emergency Medical Services and Respiratory Care programs learn clinical skills in mock emergency department treatment rooms and intensive care rooms and on two fully-functional ambulances. These teaching labs also include human patient simulators and patient care equipment appropriate for each setting. All students in the Health Science Center enjoy state-of-the art learning environments with "Smart Classroom" technology used to enhance the didactic portions of their programs. Please see the websites of the individual programs for more detailed information.
