This 30,000 sq. ft facility houses the dental hygiene, emergency medical services, respiratory care, and surgical technology departments. Student in these programs experience state-of-the-art learning environments. The Dental Hygiene Department includes a contemporary 12-chair dental hygiene clinic fully equipped to enhance student learning of all aspects pertinent to providing patient education and dental hygiene care. The clinic contains x-ray and other equipment necessary for students to function in a modern dental office. In the spring of their first year students begin providing dental hygiene care to community members. The Clinical Simulation Center (CSC) is available to students in the Emergency Medical Services, Respiratory Care, and Surgical Technology Departments. It is a "mini-hospital" designed for multi-disciplinary health care education using human patient simulators. The 9,800 sq. ft. CSC includes an ambulance bay, a receiving area with nurses' station, two emergency treatment rooms, two intensive care rooms, an operating room, a simulation control room, and laboratories for emergency medical services, respiratory care, and surgical technology. Six Laerdal SimMan simulators and a METI Human Patient Simulator constitute the CSC's core capabilities. All simulation rooms are equipped with cameras and microphones allowing student performance to be observed and recorded while instructors operated simulators from a central control room.

The award-winning Clinical Simulation Center enhances health care student and provider education at all levels, including Temple College's certificate and associate degree health professions students, Texas A & M University College of Medicine medical students, Scott and White Hospital resident physicians and fellows, and practicing physicians, nurses, and allied health practitioners throughout Central Texas. Students and clinicians work as members of multi-disciplinary teams in an environment that offers unlimited opportunities to build competence and confidence without risk to patients or themselves. The CSC has been recognized for innovation in health professional education as a finalist for the prestigious, national Bellwether Award and as the recipient of the Texas Association of College Technical Educators Presidential Award for Excellence.
