Instructional Services Center (ISC)

Government Faculty Located in the Instructional Services Center on the main Temple College Campus, the Government Department offers students transferable credit courses that are a part of the required core curicculum toward obtaining the Associate Degree at Temple College. "State and Federal Government" surveys the origin and development of the U.S. and Texas Constitutions, federalism, interstate relations, political parties, interest groups, political campaigns, and elections. The primary emphasis of "State and Federal Government Processes" is on the legislative, executive, and judicial systems of local, state, and federal governments as established in the Texas and U.S. Constitutions. GOVT 2301 and GOVT 2302 are separate courses and neither are prerequisite for the other.
