1) Discuss national political, economic, and investment considerations that might logically be associated with a population pyramid with sharply angled sides, or one with nearly vertical sides. See figures 4.9 and 4.12 from the book for help.
2) What is the Epidemiological Transition? What social and infrastructure conditions create this? How do the health issues of a population change as a result of this? Which areas of the world have made the transition and which have not?
