It is strongly advised that you take medical terminology prior to entering the program but this is not a requirement.
- You must have a minimum of 2.0 in each prerequisite to be considered for admission into the DMS program.
- The DMS program is highly competitive and unfortunately we cannot accept every applicant.
- DMS students will be required to spend up to 3 days (24 hours) a week in clinical sites as well as attend classes. Some semesters you will be at a clinical site or in class up to 36 hours a week.
- Your first step for consideration for admission into the DMS program is to attend an information session.
- It is highly recommended you bring a member of your support group (husband, wife, parent, etc) with you to the information session (no children please).
- The information session will take a little over an hour. Several information sessions will be offered prior to the program start.
- Please leave your name, phone number, and e-mail address with Mary Ann Ray 254-298-8678 to be scheduled for an information session.
- Applications will be available at the end of the information session.
