ADVANCED TECHNICAL CERTIFICATE IN BIOTECHNOLOGY

The Advanced Technical Certificate allows students with a previous background in the sciences or a degree in the sciences (i.e., minimum of A.A.S. or A.A. degree or junior level standing with a minimum of 64 semester hours) to obtain the skills necessary for employment in the rapidly expanding and exciting biotechnology related professions, primarily biomedical research.

The curriculum for the ATC will consist of the BITE courses and an Internship in a biotechnology research laboratory. Students should have a strong science/math background. Permission of the Department Chair is required for enrollment.
