On-line schedule Degree: The Temple College Art Department offers courses that satisfy degree requirements for the Associate of Arts Degree. These courses enable the student to transfer to four-year institutions of higher learning to eventually earn a bachelor's degree. Many of our students also enroll in art to satisfy their fine arts degree requirements. Other students take art for enjoyment and personal enrichment. Class Size: Classes at Temple College are generally smaller, thus giving the students the individual attention they deserve. Space is available for those students to work while other classes are in session. The classes are informal in setting to allow and promote creativity in the student. Some materials needed are provided by the department; however the student is responsible for most of his/her materials. Instructors: The TC Art Department offers a high quality education that is affordable and gives the student an excellent foundation in the visual arts. Our instructors have achieved a high regard through their personal education and through recognition as regional and nationally recognized practicing artists and writers. The instructors teaching design communication are practicing commercial artists and are able to give practical advice should the student major in graphic design.
