We'll give serious consideration to those of you with special competence in the field(s) in which you wish to teach. Additionally, we require:
- higher education academic preparation or specialized higher education training,
- direct work experience using the competencies to be taught
- excellent communication skills, and
- the ability to work with diverse groups and ability levels.
We prefer individuals with knowledge of adult learning strategies and a proven track record in successfully teaching adults. On occasion, we will "train-the-trainer." We also welcome those who can instruct a variety of subjects in Spanish.
We tap into our adjunct faculty for:
- weekday, evening - even weekend - classes,
- open-enrollment, public offerings as well as for customized training for businesses in our service area. These contract classes may be offered at the organization's site or at TC. Locations may range from Troy to Cameron to Hutto to Salado, and locales in between.
Employment application must be made through the Temple College Human Resources Department. Before officially applying, though, you may want to discuss a course idea with one of our directors. Contact:
