Distance Education

Internet courses use textbooks, CD-ROMs, and computer software along with curricular materials to help in learning. Students usually choose the media that is most accessible and most suitable for their learning styles. If you are enrolled in an Internet course, you must attend an orientation session, and you must take examinations at an approved testing center. Students communicate with their instructor through voice mail and/or e-mail. Also, students and the instructor can communicate through chat rooms. The use of chat rooms are very important for discussions.
