REGISTRATION

Open Web Registration will begin October 13, 2008 and continue through January 13, 2009 at noon.
 
Advantage Registration at Main Campus/Cameron Center/Taylor Center is November 3, 2008 – January 8, 2009**. No appointments required, but appointments are available. Please call Advising Center at 298-8331 for more information.
**Winter Break: Temple College will be closed December 19, 2008 – January 2, 2009. All campus services will reopen January 5, 2009
Advantage Registration Payment Deadline: January 8, 2009 by noon.*

Regular Registration at Main Campus/Cameron Center/Taylor Center is January 12 – 13, 2009. No appointments are required, but please call Advising Center for further information at 298-8331.
Registration Payment Deadline: January 15, 2009 by noon *

Payment plan will be available beginning November 1 - 30, 2008
and January 5 - 16, 2009 using the eCashier option.
*All tuition and fees including 2nd 8 weeks classes are due at this payment deadline.

Late Registration is January 14 – 16, 2009 (not including 2nd 8-week classes). Students who did not complete registration during the regular registration periods will have to pay a late registration fee.
Late Registration Payment Deadline: each day of late registration. Please pay the day you enroll.

2nd 8-Week Registration is March 9 - 10, 2009 during office hours.
2nd 8-Week Regular Registration Payment Deadline: March 11, 2009

2nd 8-Week Late Registration is March 11, 2009 (2nd 8-week classes only) during office hours. Students who did not complete registration during the regular registration periods will have to pay a late registration fee.

WEB REGISTRATION
ELIGIBILITY FOR WEB REGISTRATION:
To determine if you are eligible to use Web Registration you must satisfy all 3 conditions below:
  • Have passed the ACCUPLACER, TASP or THEA test for TSI or have met TSI requirements
  • Be returning from a previous semester at TC
  • Have no holds

Students needing help using TConnect are welcome to come to the Admissions & Records Office or the Open Lab in the Watson Technical Center for assistance.

PAYMENT NOTICE

During the advantage and regular registration periods, payment can be made at the Temple College cashier’s office in One College Centre, by telephone with a credit card (phone number 254-298-8611), by using the eCashier option on the TC web page, or by mail payment to the following address:

During the late registration period, all payment options are available except mail. Mailed payments will not reach the campus in time to be posted before the end of the late registration period.

Temple College accepts the following credit cards: AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER, MASTER CARD or VISA.

The online payment option (eCashier) is administered by FACTS/Nelnet Business Solutions. They accept credit cards, debit cards, or automatic bank payment (ACH) from checking or savings accounts. There is no charge for payment in full through the online system. For payment plans, there is a $30 enrollment fee per semester; but no interest is charged. If a payment is returned, a returned payment fee of $25 will be charged.

To enroll in the online payment plan:
  1. Go to www.templejc.edu
  2. Click on the eCashier logo
  3. Again, select eCashier and log in: User ID — Enter all 7 digits including leading zeroes of your student ID Password — Enter date of birth as MM/DD/YY including the /'s Term — Choose registration term from drop down box if not displayed
  4. Follow instructions to proceed through the screens. Be sure to print the final screen with the confirmation number.

If a schedule change is made after a payment plan is set up and the schedule change results in an additional amount to be paid, the additional amount MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY THE STUDENT. A payment plan cannot be changed after it is set up.

SCHEDULE CHANGES: ADDS / DROPS

Adds and Drops are permitted during advantage, regular, and late registration. Any additional tuition and fees are due by the payment deadline specified for the registration period in which the transaction occurs (i.e. advantage, regular, or late registration). Students should report to the Advising Center for schedule changes if Web Registration is not being used.

Please note: Each day that Temple College is scheduled to be in session is counted as one class day. Also Note: Refund dates are based on Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board policy.

Students receiving Title IV aid and who totally withdraw may owe Temple College and/or the federal government for the refunded tuition and fees. See Student Handbook for additional information.
