TC Student Orientation: Testing Information

A computer based test available Monday thru Thursday, anytime between 8:00am and 2:00pm.

To test requires the following:

$30.00 payable to Temple College at cahier’s office. Bring the receipt to the Testing Center
You must also have photo ID
Several #2 pencils

THEA Quick Test

A paper & pencil test available Monday through Thursday, anytime between 8:00am and 12:00 (noon).

To test requires the following:

$15.00 payable to Temple College at cashier's office. Bring the receipt to the Testing Center.
$29.00 payable to NES - personal check or money order, bring to Testing Center.
***Please note: These are two separate fees (ie. You should have 2 receipts that total $44.00)
Must have Photo ID
Bring several #2 pencils.
Simple basic four-function calculator (NO scientific or graphing).

Possible Exemptions: ACCUPLACER or THEA Quick Test

TAKS Test: English/LA score 2200 with writing sub-score of 3 and/or Math score of 2200
ACT Test: Composite score of 23 and 19 on English and/or 19 on Math
SAT Test: Combined score of 1070 and 500 on Verbal and/or 500 on Math
