graphic for band concert The Temple College Symphonic Summer Band will perform a program titled “Broadway Magic” on Thursday, June 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Mary Alice Marshall Performing Arts Center on the Temple College campus.

This program will feature iconic music from Broadway shows over the past 60 years, including “The Wiz,” “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “The Producers,” “The Lion King” and “The Music Man.”

“Temple College Summer Band performances are among my favorite of the year,” said Director Brent Colwell. “Performing this music allows us to relax and have a bit of fun with music and the audience. I assure you, everyone will walk out smiling.”

The concert is $5 for adults and free for students and children. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or at the Temple College Division of Fine Arts Office. All proceeds help fund scholarships for Temple College music majors.
