Taylor Center receives Meadows challenge grant

TCAT (Temple College at Taylor) Center has received a $150,000 Meadows Foundation challenge grant. This is a two-to-one match with one year to raise the funds as part of the challenge.

The $300,000 was raised by June 19, 2003 and the Meadows' gift has been received. The TCAT Center is now in the process of completing the renovation project.

In 1995, half of a former HEB grocery store was renovated to start the Taylor Center. Because of the rapid success of TCAT, the need to complete the Center is at a critical level. The gift from Meadows will help to make the dream and the vision of a completed center a reality.
